Wooden Cheese Platters & Cutting Boards for Hotels
Wooden Cheese Platters and Cutting Boards for Hotels
Cheese, bread and pastries are often the most photographed part of a hotel buffet, and they are also the most exposed. Makrey supplies wooden cheese platters with cloches and wooden cutting boards to luxury hotels, premium restaurants and banquet venues, and has worked with F&B teams on buffet presentation since 1981.
Cheese platters with cloche
Each of our wooden cheese platters comes with a glass cloche, so the cheese stays covered and visible at the same time. Choose from platters with a standard cloche in 10", 12" and 14" sizes, a handled platter with cloche in the same sizes, a 12" platter with a high cloche for taller pieces, and a larger glass cloche platter in 13" and 15.5". They work for cheese, cakes, pastries and cold cuts on breakfast buffets, high tea counters and bars.
Cutting boards for buffet counters
Our wooden cutting boards are 2" thick and sized for slicing bread and cheese in front of guests at live counters and breakfast buffets. Sizes include 18" x 12" boards in plain and checkered designs, and a 24" x 8" long board for baguettes and loaves. The 20" x 14" wood bread cutting box keeps crumbs contained on a busy bread station.
Setting up a cheese and bread station
Place cheese platters at the centre of the counter and use risers and elevations to vary their height. Add bread and serving baskets for rolls, tag holders to label each cheese, and cloches to cover other items on the counter. For cheese fondue, see our fondue pots.
Bulk supply for hotels
We supply cheese platters and cutting boards in bulk for new hotel openings, buffet refreshes and replacement stock, with GST billing. Share your buffet format and number of stations, and our team will suggest the right pieces with pricing. Explore the full hotel and banquet buffetware range.
