Salvers & Service Trays for Hotels
A dropped tray in a full banquet hall is the one sound every F&B manager dreads. The right salver keeps glasses steady, plates balanced and service moving, from room service corridors to crowded wedding floors. Makrey supplies salvers and service trays to luxury hotels, premium restaurants and banquet venues, and has worked with F&B teams since 1981.
Types of Salver Trays for Hotels and Restaurants
Anti-Skid Fibre Salvers
When servers are moving fast, the tray has to hold everything in place. Our anti-skid fibre salvers come in 14" and 16" round sizes, in a plain version and a version with a stainless steel lining. These round anti-skid serving salvers are the standard salver tray for restaurant floors, bars and banquet service.
Anti-Skid Service Trays
For carrying more at once, our rectangular fibre anti-skid service tray comes in five sizes, from 12" x 16" to 18" x 26", for room service, clearing and banquet runs.
Wrought Iron Salvers
Some salvers are meant to be seen, not just carried. Our 14" wrought iron salvers come with an etched pattern in brown antique, or a square-cut pattern as a black salver in matt finish, for welcome drinks, dessert presentation and table display.
Wooden Trays
Wood brings warmth to room service and breakfast. Our wooden trays come in rectangular sizes from 13" x 9" up to 21" x 13", and a 13" square tray, with black and burnt mango wood finishes on the larger 21" tray.
How to Choose the Right Salver Tray
Use anti-skid fibre salvers for floor service, where speed and safety matter most. Choose wrought iron salvers where the tray is part of the presentation, and wooden trays for room service and breakfast. Match the tray size to the load: a 14" salver suits two to four glasses, while larger service trays handle full orders.
