Snack Warmers and Hot Servers for Hotel Buffets
Starters and snacks lose their appeal quickly once they cool, and on a buffet or high tea counter they often sit out longer than main courses. Makrey supplies snack warmers, snacks warmer sets and hot appetizer servers to luxury hotels, premium restaurants and banquet venues, and has worked with F&B teams on buffet presentation since 1981.
Snack warmer sets
Each snacks warmer set combines a serving tray or salver with a warming base, sized for starters, kebabs and fried snacks. Choose wrought iron sets in round and rectangular shapes, with an etched brown antique finish or a square-cut black powder-coat; a wooden snacks warmer tray set with a 21" x 13" tray; SS sets with acrylic or wood; and a copper snack warmer set with a 15" salver and 10" tawa for Indian counters.
Mini kadai, tawa and lagan with burner
For individual portions and live-style presentation, our copper and stainless steel mini kadai and lagan come with a burner in 400 ml, 600 ml and 800 ml sizes, and the copper and SS tawa with burner comes in sizes from 7" to 12". The SS kadai with black burner offers the same format in a contemporary finish. They suit chaat, tikkas, paneer and small plates at buffets and tasting counters.
Grill warmers and bar-be-que servers
Our grill warmers keep grilled starters warm at the table and on the counter, in wrought iron (small, slim long and large) and stainless steel (small and perforated large). Wrought iron bar-be-que servers come as a grill bed, with a fry basket, or with a fry basket and SS pan, for tandoori and barbecue starters. The ceramic sigri dish in chocolate brown recreates the look of a traditional angithi.
Hot appetizer servers
Our SS hot appetizer servers, in a hammered matt finish, come in sizes from 9" x 5.5" to 12" x 8" for passing starters at cocktail events and banquets.
Snack warmer or chaffer?
Use chaffers for curries, rice and gravies in larger quantities, and snack warmers for starters, fried snacks and grilled items that need to stay warm in smaller portions. Pair them with tag holders and risers along the buffet line, and with electric grillers at live counters.
